Grande incêndio em Loulé (Faro) mobiliza forte resposta

O dia está a ser definido por um grande incêndio em Loulé, distrito de Faro, que está a arder desde o início da tarde e mobiliza aeronaves. Em paralelo, um conjunto de focos se concentra no distrito do Porto, sobretudo em Gondomar e Maia, enquanto pequenos rebentões persistem em Viana do Castelo, Leiria e Lisboa. Neste momento o incêndio de Loulé continua ativo, o conjunto do Porto mantém‑se em curso e a maioria dos demais focos já foi dominada. O sensor MTG está a detetar uma série de anomalias térmicas, a maioria sem correspondência e provavelmente ligada a atividades industriais ou agrícolas.

Major fire in Loulé (Faro) drives heavy response

The day is being defined by a major fire in Loulé, district of Faro, which has been burning since the early afternoon and is drawing aircraft. Elsewhere the picture is dominated by a cluster of incidents in the Porto district, especially around Gondomar and Maia, while smaller outbreaks persist in Viana do Castelo, Leiria and Lisboa. At the moment the Loulé blaze remains active, the Porto cluster is holding, and most other hotspots have been brought under control. The MTG sensor is picking up a swarm of thermal anomalies, the majority of which are unmatched and likely linked to industrial or agricultural activity.
