Cluster de ignições em Beja e Évora mantém pressão no Alentejo

Hoje a atividade tem‑se concentrado no Alentejo, com um cluster de ignições no concelho de Beja, distrito de Beja, e outro em Évora, distrito de Évora; surge ainda um cluster em Castro Marim, distrito de Faro. Vários fogos têm reacendido e há escaladas em curso, enquanto muitos incidentes menores foram já encerrados. O sensor MTG está a detetar inúmeras anomalias térmicas, a maioria não correspondida e típica das queimadas agrícolas da época.

Discussão técnica

O regime tem corrido pesado operacionalmente, com o pico operacional nacional bem acima da média recente. O IPMA indica um aumento marginal do RIR no distrito de Portalegre hoje e amanhã, enquanto o resto do país mantém‑se estável; FWI e BUI acompanham o mesmo nível modesto. A assimetria do MTG está marcada, com muitas anomalias térmicas não correspondidas, típicas das queimadas agrícolas. O panorama nacional mostra um leve aumento do risco em todo o território.

Perspetiva

Manutenção do regime pesado até ao fim do dia, com risco marginalmente em subida amanhã em Portalegre, sobretudo no período da tarde‑noite.

Ignition cluster in Beja and Évora drives pressure in Alentejo

Today activity has concentrated in the Alentejo, with a cluster of ignitions around the concelho of Beja in the district of Beja and another around Évora in the district of Évora; a further cluster is developing in Castro Marim in the district of Faro. Several fires have reignited and a number of escalations are ongoing, while many smaller incidents have been brought under control. The MTG sensor is detecting numerous thermal anomalies, most of them unmatched and consistent with routine agricultural burning.

Technical discussion

Regime has run heavy operationally, with the national operational peak well above recent baseline. IPMA indicates a marginal RIR uptick in the district of Portalegre today and tomorrow, while the rest of the country remains steady; FWI and BUI are tracking the same modest band. MTG asymmetry is marked, with a high proportion of unmatched thermal anomalies typical of agricultural burns. Overall national reading shows a slight rise in risk across the country.

Outlook

Heavy regime is expected to hold for the rest of the day, with a marginal risk increase tomorrow in Portalegre, especially during the late‑afternoon to night window.
